The 2025 Toyota Corolla isn’t at our dealership just yet, but the 2024 model has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine with an identical 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a CVT automatic transmission and come with standard front-wheel drive.
Infotainment Comparisons
Both cars have an eight-inch Multimedia Touchscreen with six built-in speakers. Wireless AppleCarPlay® and Android Auto™ are also standard fare. One difference is the addition of the JBL® Premium Audio eight-speaker system that comes standard on the XSE trim for the Toyota Corolla Hatchback. For the Toyota Corolla, it’s available but not standard on the XSE trim, and the system comes with nine speakers instead.
