The peak of spring is here. This is a time for new changes. One change in a positive direction is to give your car some much needed care. This is a good time to schedule maintenance at our Toyota service center in Baltimore, MD. Here is a list of service to keep in mind.
Battery Check
Batteries tend to die in early spring due to the recent winter weather causing chemical changes inside the battery cell. A technician can perform a voltage check to test if ample juice remains. Perform a voltage check twice a year if it has been three or more years since the last battery replacement.
Wiper Blade Check
If the wiper blades are damaged, it may leave streaks that make visibility worse. This is often due to the rubber blade separating from the metal hinge. The wiper blades usually need to be replaced every two to three years.
Oil Filter Check
There are a lot of airborne contaminants in spring. Now is the time to perform an oil filter check. If the filter appears blackened, then you need to replace it.
Additional Parts to Inspect
On top of the components mentioned above, we can inspect the following parts:- Tires
- Oil
- Spark plugs
- Brake pads
