The Toyota Venza is back after a hiatus. The 2021 Toyota Venza sports a few changes since the 2015 model before its discontinuation.
With its return, developers have mentioned some unique updates that give the crossover a whole new “intuitive driving experience.” This includes notable improvements in acceleration, handling, vibration, and noise levels.
What’s Under the Hood?
The Toyota Venza is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine connected to three separate electric motors. Drivers can select between four drive modes, the most notable of which is the EV mode that enables electric-only operation at low speeds over a short distance.
All trims come with all-wheel drive as standard.
The Infotainment
Buyers can opt for the Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation. The upgrade consists of a 12.3-inch touchscreen display that can be adjusted to optimize for driver or front passenger control.
It includes Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ connectivity and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Audio comes courtesy of a six-speaker sound system with an optional upgrade to a JBL Premium Audio System fitted with nine speakers.
Interior and Exterior
Compared with the 2015 model, the 2021 Toyota Venza has a sleeker style with a more pronounced grille. The rear is a bit boxier and resembles more of a conventional CUV design. The most notable addition, though, is the Star Gaze panoramic sunroof with electrochromic glass technology.
As for the interior, power seats now come standard with a driver’s seat getting a slide-away function to make entering and exiting easier for larger drivers. The rear behind the second-row seating provides an ample 36.3-cubic feet cargo space.
